More detailed information about the snowpack:

Tower 27 has been a problem area for us since the 11/29 rain crust. The piece of terrain has slid twice- once with a skier remote on the 12/16 surface hoar layer and the second was skier accidental while traversing mid-slope. We have had the area closed off with it receiving very light skier traffic and compaction. The goal is to further test the area with explosives. This area seems to correlate more closely to events in southern BC.
