More detailed information about the snowpack: 

CT produced sudden Q1 planar failure on 5 at 90cm down on presumed hoar, 30 degree slope. PWL facets found at 115cm depth. Needless to say we tiptoed down this slope. Lower elevations in drainage showed significant stability with snowmobile tracks up many 35 degree slips of similar aspect.
