Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

4000' had ~5cm of new snow on crust.  The new snow increased and the strength of the crust dissapated as you approached 4600"

Fine surface hoar in wind protected aspects.

Slight wind slab, all <2cm on top of the surface hoar on NE aspect of the ridge.

No pit was dug, great skiing on the north aspect above 4600'. Crusty below that.
