Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Lots of solar radiation today. East aspect was prime about 10:00, then quickly got too slushy and wet slide potential. True north still had powder down to about 5500. Loose dry sluffs were easy to kick off as the snow had some near surface faceting and a good crop of surface hoar. West aspects hit their corn prime about 14:00, weren't getting too many roller ball at  15:00 when we left. South was a soggy mess from about 10:00 on. Lots of tree bombs still left that were dropping  throughout the day giving indicators of how the snow surface was reacting .
