More detailed information about the weather:

We observed a crust on all aspects and elevations up to at least 7,000'. In the West Willow Peak area, it's 5-10 cm thick and robust below about 6,000' in elevation and starkly more suble at ~2 mm thick at higher elevations. The snow under the crust was dry above 6,000'. At lower elevations the snow under the crust was moist to wet, easy to make a snowball, in the upper 50 cm of the snowpack.
